In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, further enrich the cultural life of employees, and improve the quality of life of employees, on the afternoon of July 7, CITIC Titanium Industry Employee Activity Center was officially unveiled and put into use. Company leaders Sui Chen, Zang Yingbo, Zhang Hui, Dong Liqing, Wang Meiyan attended the unveiling ceremony, and more than 150 people witnessed the unveiling ceremony.

As the company's normalized implementation of the "I do practical things for the masses" practice of the key project, the staff activity center started construction on May 17 this year, under the strong leadership and strong support of the company's party committee, the company's trade union adhering to the concept of safety first, efficiency first, quality excellence, the project construction as a popular project, happiness project, after multiple site selection, careful design, strict bidding, standardized construction, lasted 43 days of successful completion. The staff activity center covers an area of 1,656 square meters, with 6 functional areas of basketball, badminton, table tennis, fitness, chess and cards, and changing showers, which truly realizes spending small money and doing big things.

Dong Liqing, member of the Party committee, secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and chairman of the trade union, pointed out in his speech that during the critical period of the company's all-out sprint to the "1234" goal, the staff activity center was successfully completed and put into use, which is a clear measure for the company's party committee to adhere to the people's position, strengthen employee care, and improve people's livelihood and well-being. It will inject strong impetus into the vigorous development of the company's mass cultural and sports activities. It is hoped that the majority of employees will unswervingly listen to the party's words and follow the party, unremittingly keep the original intention and take on the mission, and devote themselves to the company's high-quality development process with a stronger physique, a more inspiring spirit and more enthusiasm. The company's trade union will also give full play to the advantages and role of funds, assets and resources, accelerate the construction of the second phase of the staff activity center, improve the regional planning of fitness, yoga, chess and cards, and devote itself to building a "one-stop" leisure and sports venue, and launch more characteristic service brands that reassure the party committee, satisfy the employees and be recognized by the society, so as to better meet the growing needs of the company's employees for cultural and sports activities and their yearning for a better life.

In the warm applause of everyone, Sui Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Comrade Dong Liqing jointly unveiled the staff activity center, and Zang Yingbo, executive deputy general manager, Zhang Hui, deputy secretary of the Party committee, and Wang Meiyan, assistant to the general manager, presented balls to the Badminton Association, Basketball Association, and Table Tennis Association respectively.

After the unveiling ceremony, the company's leaders kicked off the badminton competition, basketball competition and table tennis competition that were held immediately, and conducted on-site observation to cheer for the participating players.
